Let’s go strawless is the current battle cry of the greens. This gives them a continuing dose of the “we care” movement to support their “feel good” philosophy. A simple computation reveals that the elimination of straws from OTC (over the counter) purchases reduces plastic proliferation by almost an immeasurable amount. It can scarcely be compared with the general use of plastic. A suitcase full of nutcases. The obvious conclusion is their energy is spent. They are now working on nano-conservation. How small can you go? Whatever happened to global warming? Or at least climate change? This is gettin' embarrassing.
